The Last Word in Community Connection

Women who spend their day being Mom to a growing family or those who pursue a career outside the home often find it challenging to keep informed about what’s going on in the community and to stay in touch with others who have similar interests.

Too often, it’s easy to feel isolated and out of touch, detracting from the enhanced quality of life that being well-informed and socially connected can help create.

The founder of the online and print editions of Me and Mine have long recognized the need for a single, reliable source of current information about our community along with regular access to resources that can inform, inspire and entertain.

MeandMineMagazine.com is all about bringing people together, sharing information, advice and experiences and creating a greater sense of community.

When it comes to local happenings along with the latest trends in parenting, wellness, careers, menu ideas and insights from local experts, our goal is to be the first place you go for the last word in information and community connection.

About the Publisher

Jennifer Jaeger Traynham, Publisher

Jennifer Jaeger Traynham grew up in Yuba City, and since a young age, felt a sense of loyalty to her home community. Jen graduated from Yuba City High School and went on to continue her education at California State University, Chico, where she received her Bachelor’s degree in Communication Design.

As many young people do, Jen moved to the Bay area to experience life in a bigger city and a different atmosphere. However, after a few short years, she felt the need to return to her roots and settled here to begin a family and have her children experience the same things she did; the simple beauty of the Sutter Buttes, blossoming orchards, and small town charm.

While growing and changing, the community began to strike Jen as a place that improves as its residents give back to it, and that’s why she decided that the women of our counties deserve a good quality magazine dedicated to focusing on the importance of taking care of ourselves in order to provide healthy and fun lifestyles for our kids and families, and to influence others to do the same.

Jen’s hope in creating a magazine for and about women is that it will encourage and inspire them to have fun, create and continue lasting friendships and focus on the value of family.

With the support and inspiration of her family, longtime friends and the hope of giving something valuable to the community, Jen is welcoming you to Me and Mine magazine–a publication dedicated to local women created by women. Enjoy!
